The Mayan calender was wrong, but our world still ended. Earthquakes shook the Earth, tsunamis and tornadoes took whole cities off the map. Hurricanes lashed both coasts. Whole cities collapsed; all around the world. Over three million people died and fewer than five hundred thousand are alive today.
"The day the world Shattered." is what the survivors call this fateful day the destined apocalypse hit. The few people who have survived the Shattering live in the Ruins of their cities, fearing the wild things of the forest. They band together to form shanty towns with huge bonfires to chase out the darkness. The ones who dare the venture outside of their leveled cities are never seen or heard from again.
Shattered is set in the Ruins of what was once North America, where humans are no longer at the top of the food chain. They have to fight to survive everyday, will you manage to live in our Shattered world? Or will you be counted among the numerous dead?
