• Overall: Randin wears the same cloths almost every day. Unless he gets the chance to get new ones, though he keeps his leather stuff that he never gets rid of. Only the cotton and under cloths. Otherwise he looks absolutely the same. He doesn't like wearing new things though cause there not broke in yet, it makes him feel like he is chaffing in them. As for how he stands he has a casual arms crossed look. He also likes to lean up against things when he is just standing around bored. Most of the time he can be found sitting and string off into space when he is not working. When working he has a more defensive sort of stance. Seeing as he feels he has to always be on edge. Other than that he acts pretty laid back and even smiles when he can. As much as he seems to act tough and defensive though, he still holds a very bright and warm aura about him. Personal: Randin is overall a pretty easy going person. He has is ups and his downs, but he tries his hardest to hang in there. Everyday is a new day to live. He does hope that eventually one of those days will be the one that gets him a ticket out though. Out of the town he is in, out of the depression, out of well everything there. He wanted to have adventure. Find fame and glory if he could. Be something more than what he was which was working in the stables.

ASSERTIVENESS:
Randin is very stubborn, but doesn't always stand up for himself. Even when he should. He tends to defy when he can and assert authoritativeness when he can get away with it. But most of the time he takes orders more than he gives them. Its just the way he grew up. It's noting against the boy. He just doesn't always give all his 100%. Though if he did he wouldn't be a person to try and reckon with.

CONSCIENTIOUSNESS:
Randin is a very caring person. However, sometimes he just doesn't think. There are days when he will only think of himself, but most of the time he isn't like that. He tries to think of others before he really ever thinks of himself. Most of the time he tries to do things from his heart and not just his mind. He gives a lot without the idea of receiving anything back in return. He is always there to help others and to guide them. Though he doesn't realize how much of a leadership sort of trait that really is.

EMPATHY:
On most levels Randin connects to others. He likes to understand how others feel. Unless of course there mean to him. Then he isn't as apt to wanting to understand. Most of the time he also picks up on the moods of others so to say if someone is moody he will be a bit moody himself. Most of the time he tries to be a caring individual, but being human in nature he has his faults. Empathy is a mild to mid ranged ability for him. He just has to put effort into it.

SOCIABILITY:
Sociable, he can tend to be a smart ass. He loves to chat it up. Especially with travelers. Tries always to get the latest news as to what is going on in the world. That's why he ventures to bars and pubs as often as he can get. With girls he is a bit more shy though. So he tends to stray from them so he doesn't have to think that he will feel like an idiot. Other than that he is just social all around.

OPTIMISM:
Eh, for a low waged kid he has a good head on his shoulders. He isn't too optimistic, but not too little. He never likes to get his hopes up. seeing as he doesn't have quite the life to do so. He does what he is supposed to and doesn't ask questions most often. The one optimistic hope that he holds is that he will someday get out of the stables and do some thing better with his life. So at least that keeps him going and keeps most of his spirits up. Any other optimism around that are pretty slim. But at least he tries.

TRUST:
Well he trusts, but yet he doesn't at the same time. He trusts to the point that he may call you acquaintance until he gets to know you better. However, save is life and you have a better chance of being a friend. He trusts those that are most close to him. While strangers he has a harder time trusting. But he isn't a mean person to even a stranger. Unless they have wronged him. Then maybe he will have a thing against them.

COURAGE:
He has some courage. However, he hasn't had the opportunity to show out his fullest potential. He has a long way to go still. However, his stubbornness sometimes can work to his advantage. That or just potentially get himself killed. Three parts fool one part brave. He tends to get himself into lots of trouble sometimes with how much he sticks his neck out so to say. But his courageous pride is also the beginnings of a strong leader.

DRIVE:
Most of the time he hates getting up and working. But its a job none the less. What tends to get him through are the stories he hears. Stories about far away places and of adventurous plights. He then finds himself pretending to be some adventurer himself. Constantly he takes out his makeshift fighting post mannequin and beats on it like a fighter would. That would keep him going most of the time. However it too would get him in much trouble.

VALOR:
Randin expects respect. Seeing as he has to give it everyday himself. He also has respect for women. He won't let another male hurt a lady for no reason or any reason at all. With him its just not cool. He for the most part has respect for his elders, his stubborn attribute just can get the best of him and he can tend to open mouth and insert foot sometimes. He also tries to hold the virtues of a knight even if he isn't one and even if he doesn't understand all of them. He at least gives his best.

SELF WORTH:
Honestly, as much as he is prideful. He has a very low esteem for self really. A bit under confident of obtaining what he wants to really be. But he doesn't think so lowly of himself that he wished he were dead. Quite frankly he tries not to think about himself. Instead he tries to drown that out by thinking about others. its his way of getting rid of the pain of the fact that he is just a stable boy. Even though he wants to be something more.

NERVES:
There isn't too much that makes Randin nervous. Or even phobia like. He hates the dark a lot. Most due to being lonely. But that's because the dark is scary. There is no doubt about that. But outside of that there isn't really much. Not unless it hasn't surfaced yet.


NERVE TICK(S):
If there is one thing that Randin likes to do its whittle wood. He will either make things from it. Or he will whittle it to nothing. A lot of times he will do this when he is just sitting somewhere. Especially when he has nothing better to do. But its the only past time that is record able that he does most often.

Brief Summary: Randin was born under the sign of the dragon. A very rare sign to be born under. However, he was born under it. He grew up in an orphanage never knowing his family. Often he had asked though who they might of been. But alas not even the monastery workers for the New religion could even tell him. So he grew up family less. It didn't seem to phase him much though.

As he got older the monastery began to teach him some things. He learned vague concepts, such as languages though he never retained them, worldly concepts though he never remembered them, and ways about the New religion. He didn't keep that either. Not really, only in the recesses of his mind did the thoughts truly stay. Maybe again some day he would remember them, but today was not that day. He had more loftier opinions. His thoughts where aways elsewhere.

Eventually all that they could do was ship the boy off to doing work once he got old enough to do so. At age 10 he began working in the stables as a stable boy under the watchful eye of a stable master. He learned to do his work and keep his mouth shut. That was his life until he turned 12. Once he turned the age of 12, he started to work on the docks as a shipyard lacky. There he did started to do odd jobs and clean the ships that came into port. That was done under the watchful eye of the shipmaster, a stout shorter man.That was his life until up to current date.
